Jottings – He Helps Fully When He Is Leant On Fully

The sense of powerlessness avails nothing in itself, but when it is felt in the presence of the Lord's assured help, it casts the servant fully on Him, and He helps fully when He is leant on fully.

Commenting on Jeremiah 1:6 ~~

“The sense of powerlessness avails nothing in itself, but when it is felt in the presence of the Lord’s assured help, it casts the servant fully on Him, and He helps fully when He is leant on fully.”

  1. Good to see you’re reading JBS. Discipline is an excellent read.

  2. Stoney”s introspectiveness set the tone for generations of exclusives. You would be better served by reading more of John Wesley.

    • I understand what you are saying regarding his ‘introspectiveness’ and the setting of a ‘tone.’ However, I have not yet encountered in my reading of Stoney any doctrinal error.

I would also enjoy reading more of John Wesley. Any recommendations?
