Virtually all church leaders know that we are living in the age of the Internet and intuitively realize that social media brings with it great potential for furthering the cause of Christ.

Unfortunately many of those same leaders have not incorporated a coherent and consistent social media effort into the ministry of their local church.

Audio: The Intergenerational Transfer of Truth

“When all that generation had been gathered to their fathers, another generation arose after them who did not know the Lord nor the work which He had done for Israel.” Judges 2:10

Every generation of God’s people have the solemn responsibility to effectively pass along God’s truth to the next generation.

When Joshua was given the responsibility to lead the Nation of Israel “something went right”— After the death of Moses, Joshua and his generation successfully stood up and took on the reigns of godly leadership. Joshua 1:1ff.

Unfortunately, when Joshua’s generation passed away and another generation arose “something went wrong.” Judges 2:7-13 and following. What went wrong? And what can we learn from those failures?
