Jottings – The Cross

As long as you live, beware of a religion in which there is not much of the cross. You live in times when the warning is sadly needful. Beware, I say again, of a religion without the cross.

Titus 1:15-16 Faith vs. Religion

This is the tenth video in a series of teaching videos on the book of Titus. You can find the first video here.

Religion and religious practices can’t clean up your life!

“Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.” Titus 1:15-16 KJV

Purity comes from faith in Christ and the evidence is seen in how you live. In Titus 1:15-16 Paul uses some tough language to describe religious folk who look good on the outside but have never really trusted Christ.

Watch this latest vblog but read the two verses for yourself before you start. Enjoy!
